It is made of rectified solid mass with an anodised aluminium balancing cap (which reduces dead volume in the lower engine while guaranteeing maximum balance and good inertia).
It has a forged and heat-treated connecting rod and a removable INA racing needle cage (connecting rod head) that can handle up to 18,000 rpm.
The hollow crankpin has a diameter of 18 mm compared to 16 mm for the original.
